I was at the end of my tether as every equity release specialist I’d spoken to told me my property was not suitable for equity release due to the vicinity of commercial buildings. One of these brokers recommended Glen, with the view that his knowledge and experience may prove worthwhile given my situation. 24hours after consulting Glen, he told me that he had secured an equity release mortgage from a well-known lender. Job done! I thought I was going to have to sell my home but thankfully Glen saved the day. I would thoroughly recommend his services.
I stupidly kept ignoring the letters from my mortgage lender until the one came saying they had commenced proceedings to reposes my property. A friend in the pub told me about equity release but said it might be too late. I found Glen Morris online and liked the look of his experience as a Senior Manager with a high street lender coupled with his equity release expertise. I contacted him straight away and Glen said we need to sort this out ASAP and came round the next morning. I signed an authority form giving my mortgage lender permission to speak to Glen and he was able to postpone the repossession procedure. He then organised the equity release mortgage and all seemed fine until my property was down valued by the surveyor. The upshot of this was that I was £1700 short in the repaying of my mortgage in full plus the solicitors fees. Somehow Glen was able to convince the lender to assist and they came up with a cash back facility to cover this outstanding amount. Glen, there is still a bottle of malt whiskey with your name on it in my house waiting for collection. I can’t thank this man enough, lovely fella too, we spoke about football etc. and he was able to put my mind at rest the whole time.
